水疱瘡感染についての注意

本学箱崎キャンパスの留学生4名が水疱瘡（水痘）に罹りました。

水疱瘡は感染症の一つで，感染してから約2週間程の潜伏期間を経てまず発熱が起こり，

その約2日後には体中に赤い発疹や水ぶくれが現れます。

感染の可能性があるときから2週間を経過して発熱した場合には発症の可能性があります。集団感染を引き起こす可能性がありますので大学へ来ることを控えて安静にして下さい。

また，発熱から2日で発疹が出た場合は水疱瘡が考えられます。他人との接触を避け，マスクを着用のうえ医療機関を受診し，決して登校せず自宅（自室）で完治するまで療養するようにしてください。

発疹がかさぶた状態になれば治ったことになりますので登校しても構いません。

特に10月25日開催の留学生歓迎茶会，及び10月27日の留学生歓迎会に参加した方は

潜伏期間を経て11月7日頃以降に発症する恐れがありますので十分注意してください。

Note for Chicken pox infection

It has been reported that 4 international students in Hakozaki Campus suffered from Chicken pox. Chicken pox, one type of infectious diseases, causes fever after around 2 weeks of latency period, and subsequently cause the red rash and the blister throughout the body.

Those who become feverish, especially 2 weeks after the occasions in which infection is likely to occur, are suspected of the onset of Chicken pox, therefore are not recommended to come to the University to avoid the risk of group infection.

Those who suffer from the rash 2 days after the fever are diagnosed with Chicken pox with high probability and are not in any ways allowed to come to the University. Please go to the hospital with wearing the mask, avoid the contact with others, and stay in home until it is fully healed. After the rash develops into the scab, you are regarded as fully healed and are allowed to come to the University.

Especially those who attended “Welcome Tea Ceremony” on October 25 and/or “Kyushu University International Party” on October 27 are suspected to develop the disease after around November 7 subsequent to latency period and are fully required to be cautious.
