2027 Admissions Information

This major is aimed to produce researchers and educators who can contribute to the welfare and health of humanity from a global standpoint. Acquiring a deep understanding of the advancements in life-science research by fusing medicine with knowledge from a variety of fields. Thus, we seek students with critical reasoning skills that can solve problems in an ethical manner and have a passion to fulfill their mission in medicine by utilizing the knowledge acquired from their undergraduate courses. Furthermore, we prioritize a systematic fundamental education for those who aim is to advance from our master’s course to the PhD course in the graduate school of medical sciences.
All courses in the Master's Program in Medical Science are conducted in Japanese.

Note The applicant is required to submit a Letter of Acceptance (prescribed form) by the end of the application period.

How to Get Guidelines

Starting with the 2027 academic year entrance examinations, Kyushu University Graduate School of Medical Sciences has introduced an online application system; therefore, it is no longer necessary to submit application documents by mail.

・The online application period follows the schedule outlined in the Application Guidelines.
・Once registered, the information you enter cannot generally be changed. Please take care to double-check for errors when registering.
・The system includes a “Save Draft” feature; please make effective use of it for reviewing your application.
・Once your application is complete, you will receive an “Application Completion Notification” via email. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or other email folders.
